Upgrading an exciting industrial WWTP

Starting 2005 ROCtecs/BDP constructed a small trial basin to make a treatment study. The out coming data shows an excellent treatment result.

The two already constructed SBR basins were rebuild an equipped with All-in-one ROCtecs/BDP bio-process

Short description:

This factory mainly produces caprolactam. The waste water has a high concentration of COD and NH₃-N. 

A biological treatment with common processes was quite difficult.

 

The existing waste water treatment includes: 

Oil separation tank + regulating tank + SBR + denitrification tank + contact oxidation tank + second sedimentation tank + effluent.

 

Waste water treatment after upgrading:  

Oil separation tank + regulating tank + All-in-one basin ROCtecs/BDP bio-process + effluent. 

 

Results after upgrading:

Total basin volume of Pre-treatment reduced by about 30% from before

The operation costs reduced by about 50% from the former costs. 

High improvement of the effluent COD.
